A French word, and filled full of unexpected letters if you don’t speak French.
Or any of the Romance languages, for that matter.
I do understand that it’s going to be a tricky one. But in Hampi, we saw endless variations on this… all of them wrong.
You’d think of the many, many travellers there, someone would have stopped a French visitor and asked how to spell the word.
Obviously you’d be wrong. This is same place that brought us yaghuth for yoghurt.
Still I’d say if it doesn’t even vaguely seem right. It probably isn’t. But then I’m dyslexic, so I’m always on the watch for misspelled words.
So, I’ll just leave you to marvel at this one.
